The Norwegian guitar Duo Gvito consists of two extraordinary classical guitarists,  Marius Gundersen and Gjermund Titlestad.(….) “Xaranga” starts with a captivating duet of Maximo Diego Pujol, called Trez Piezas de Otoño. Jorge Morel's composition Danza Brasileira is expressive and performed with excellent techniques. One of the most soulful pieces is Agua & Vinho of the famous composer Egberto Gismonti with a moving and passionate approach, which is really breathtaking. Further highlights are the interpretation of Jonas Mollberg's Prelude & Waltz and Astor Piazolla's Libertango and Invierno Porteño, performed in a touching and moody atmosphere with skilled techniques. The CD ends with Jobiniana No.1 and Farewell composed by Sergio Assad with heartbreaking and absorbing adaptations of this famous guitarist. Duo Gvito has a modern approach to classical and related music, which surely will attract any guitar enthusiast.
