For the first time there’s to be released an album from one of Norway’s leading jazz-vocalists together with one of the best symphony orchestras in Europe, and with music arrangements by the fine jazz pianist, composer and music arranger Egil Kapstad.

And when the CD is recorded live in studio and by this has been allowed to keep a presence and nearness that is so difficult to keep during a studio-recording, our opinion is that this is one of the greatest albums to be released this year.

It’s a beautiful ballad-CD. Everything so wonderfully done by this unique band that’s making space (a room) which suits Hilde better than anything she’s done musically in her past. On this CD she’s not a singer with a wall of instruments behind her, but it feels like she’s part of the Symphony Orchestra and the band – which are:
